Bayview Villa has three floors or levels, each offering a separate self-contained apartment. Crew's Nest is a beautifully appointed studio apartment on the bottom level with a pool side patio. Perfect for couples, honeymooners and solo travelers alike.
Bayview Villa is very private and beautifully landscaped. Its shared pool with private sun-terrace is set in a lush tropical garden. Offering panoramic sea views of Stone Haven Bay, the villa is only a short walk from Grafton Beach.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in Bayview Villas and I’m sure it won’t be the last! This is one of the few walkable places in the area we’ve found, and it’s right by amazing restaurants, a store, a great bar, and wonderful beaches. The studio itself is clean and tastefully decorated with local art. Gillian was so helpful and flexible, yet again. Oh, be sure to ask how to take Jay up on one of his boat tours!

We booked Gillian's place for a relaxing getaway in Tobago and her place exceeded our expectations.
Both Gillian and her property manager Paula communicated directions to the accommodations and check-in instructions before arrival which made the process effortless.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Paula who gave us a quick tour of the property which is even more impressive than in the photos. There was however an issue with the air-conditioning which when brought to the host's attention resulted in an immediate offer to be moved into the larger unit upstairs which we accepted.

The space was very clean and well equipped. Enjoyed being 5 minutes from the beach. The pool and outdoor shower were nice extras.

This place is truly a gem. As described it is on a hillside and like comments before, you do have to be care when walking down to the studio. Especially with luggage. That said, the place was extremely cozy and had everything I needed. The place was clean but not squeaky clean. I did find some hairs about the place when I first got there.
It is truly 10 minutes, or less down hill to Stone Haven's Bay Beach. The area is quiet and there is a plaza with several good restaurants around and a Mini Mart for groceries.
My only recommendation would be to have the steps going to the main road from the backyard properly levelled out and graded. I did almost fall. Those steps can be a bit treacherous to walk up and down. That said, the added convenience for walking to beach is second to none.
Paula, who I believe is the home owner, is a friendly and helpful lady. Gillian was very helpful and very prompt in communication. She was also very accommodating with my reservation request.

The studio apartment was extremely spacious for the two of us with a large patio immediately outside for our sole use, and a shared swimming pool as well. Gillian organised a pick up from the airport Arrivals, and we spent a week without a car - there's a selection of restaurants and shops/stalls nearby and the beach is really lovely and less than ten minutes away. Gillian and Paula were also very helpful with local taxi services, and we also received a complementary trip to a local supermarket on arrival for supplies. The Wifi was also very good. All in all, thoroughly recommended and we had a great time.

Apartment as advertised, the photos corresponded to reality. Full equipment, well maintained. The host was very kind and flexible with the entrance and exit. A very pleasant experience.

A Fantastic Stay! Even before myself and my husband arrived at the island, Gillian started communicating with me.
She very kindly organised a pick-up from the airport to the apartment as I was unsure of the location (which was easy to get to). On arrival we were greeted by Sheryl and Sheldon the Villa attendants who went through everything with us. Gillian was able recommended a car hire company which we used throughout our stay.
Gillian’s warmth came through her messages, just genuinely checking to see if we were happy with everything. The apartment had everything we needed and more, it was perfect and a great location for us. We will be recommending Gillian to all our friends and family. We will definitely returning back soon.

Her place was great for our beach-centric vacation. A 15 min walk to Grafton beach was a daily thing for us. Also great restaurants and bars in walking distance.
The only thing I would mention as a concern is that you need to walk up and down very steep stairs if you're on foot; no problem for us but I would not recommend it for anyone who has any kind of mobility issues or balance/vertigo. Also, as in most places in Tobago, don't leave any food out in the kitchen as the ants will find it. Once we stopped doing that we had no more ant issues.
And her place is described just as you see it in the listing. Loved relaxing on the very spacious deck after a day on the beach.
