Named for the majestic black rocks found on the beach-front of this scenic holiday retreat on Tobago's Caribbean coast, Black Rock Dreams is without a doubt one of the most impressive and upscale seaside developments located in the Grafton area.
Mahi Mahi Suite is one of eight fully air-conditioned 3-bedroom units set in this charming condominium complex. Situated on the upper floor, affording all the cherished privacy and 3-sided views only a corner condo can command, Mahi Mahi is quite simply a prince of a suite.
Graced with high ceilings and its many tall glass-paneled doors and windows, the sun is easily able to do its daily sweep of this luxurious apartment. The kitchen is a chef's dream come true, with its stainless-steel appliances and all the necessary implements for in-house catering or creating your own gourmet meals. A breakfast bar, providing ample seating, partially opens the kitchen up to an office and the more formal dining area. The space set aside to serve as your office, if needed, is furnished with a large antique desk and storage cabinet, where you can lay down your wine and find an in-house guide to help you create your own fun holiday.
It’s great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families (with kids).

The apartment fulfilled the main expectation which was to have a wonderful beach just a few steps away. The apartment was very comfortable with everything needed for a complete stay. The location close to good restaurants was also very convenient.
Also the flexibility in the check in and check out helps a lot to make the stay very pleasant unlike hotels that are strict with the schedules.

**Paradise on Grafton Beach!**
We stayed in this beautiful 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom beachfront apartment, and it was absolutely perfect for our group of six adults. The space was spacious, and immaculate, offering plenty of room to relax.
The real highlight...Direct access to Grafton Beach—the water was calm, crystal clear, and ideal for swimming. Every evening, we were treated to gorgeous sunsets right from our balcony.
Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. Great dining options were just a short 5–10 minute drive away, making dinners out effortless. If you’re looking for a serene yet convenient beach getaway, this villa is a dream.

The property is very safe, conveniently located near amazing restaurants, and very peaceful. It was the perfect location for our group carnival cooldown. Excellent apartment in Black Rock , the best end of the bay as it’s calmer to swim and near the best restaurant in Seahorse, lovely apartment well equipped and great location with pool and beach within yards. Gillian is a very good host and so responsive with questions and information.

Gillian upgraded us to this property and we found ourselves in paradise! beach front location was absolutely amazing for a 6am cuppa on the beach and swim with the locals. The beach was quiet and clean though not so deserted as to feel unsafe while alone reflecting and struggling with jet lag!
The property itself was nicer than in the photos, and very well equipped, the essential air con worked a treat and plenty of hot water. Location is great for beach lovers (note it is rock sand not pure white) and the pool was also lovely for something alternative. Waves restaurant just a few minutes walk away made a killer cocktail and some yummy food for those days you dont fancy going too far.
Would definitely recommend renting a car to make the most of the island, Gillian got us a great rate and recommended a brilliant masseuse. The villa is located in a quiet community. It is well designed and very spacious. It also offers all the amenities away from home.
The gallery has a picturesque view of the Caribbean Sea.

I have stayed at a different unit at this property and Mahi Mahi met my expectations. The location and views are lovely. Any issue had a quick resolve and Gillian was a pleasant host. Note this unit is on the upper most level so more stairs to climb but the view is the pay off! Hope to visit again.

The Mahi Mahi Suite was totally awesome! Everything as described and perfect for our family. The views are amazing from the balcony and the suite is peaceful (except for the crazy rooster at 2:00am, but that’s life in the islands 😂) Gillian was responsive and a good host. The pool is very deep, so purchase noodles if you’re not a strong swimmer. There are excellent restaurants nearby. The beach is perfect for walking, but was a bit rough during our visit. Overall we wished we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely book again when visiting Tobago.

We really enjoyed “Mahi Mahi” apartment at Black Rock Dreams. A spacious 3 bed apartment right on Grafton Beach. Wonderful views and sound of the sea. The pool and garden was lovely as well. Communication was great and we were met on arrival and departure. We will be sure to come back again.

Gillian is an amazing host, answering questions prior to our stay, doing some food shopping for us (we arrived on a holiday). We stayed in the Mahi Mahi suite which was well-appointed for cooking and very comfortable. The pictures don’t lie, the property is truly right on the beach. Very kid friendly, we loved exploring the tide pools in the mornings. I would definitely recommend renting a car as there are only two real restaurants in walking distance. We really loved our stay!
